I'm not 100% sure this constitutes as news, but it's one of the reasons I'm excited for this show. Former "Chuck" writing partners Lauren LeFranc and Rafe Judkins are on the writing staff, and they were my absolute favourites on Chuck and such talents. I think they'll fit in perfectly with what this show is, and we're lucky to have them.

Some casting news! If any of you watched Ghost Whisperer you might recognize him.

MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Casts David Conrad In "Top Secret" Recurring Role While his character is unknown, Ghost Whisperer actor David Conrad has landed a recurring role for Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. this season, which premieres on ABC in the fall. According to TV Line, David Conrad (Ghost Whisperer, CSI: Miami) has landed a recurring role in ABC's highly anticipated television series Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., which premieres Tuesday, September 24th at 8 PM EST. As expected, details on his role are being kept under lock and key, and we don't know which episode will be his debut on the show. But the site adds, "the show has been casting the role of a brilliant and quirky scientist that matches Conrad’s description (i.e., male in his 40s)." I'm also hoping that Nick Fury will appear in future episodes. I hope Samuel L. Jackson will be available for the show (and they invite him). I'm indeed loving all those promotional images. It's gonna be a kick-ass show!

Since this is the last season of HIMYM, I'm hopeful that she'll join the cast as a regular. I'm crossing my fingers.
