Yeah, I don't think I would've liked that, I hate when a character is there just to service another character's plot, you know? Maybe if that had been in the beginning of their story it could've worked, but Delphine turned out to be such a strong and interesting character on her own, you couldn't end her journey on the show like that. That's why I think she'll come back, not just because of the couple, but because she'll be a part of the general story in an important way. That's what I pray for, anyway

Oh I wouldn't like it either, but if she's dead then I'd prefer knowing already rather than having it dragged out this way.

I hate that final scene because Cosima is just SO unaware that it boarders on disbelief.

Surely they won't have dragged it out this long if she weren't still alive. The only other character who's 'death' has been dragged out nearly as long was Helena and even she was found to be alive the first episode back from hiatus.

I'm glad now she at least realises that something felt off about it. It could be worse, she could still think Delphine is just away on business.

I agree, they wouldn't have dragged it out this long only to go "yeah, she's really dead" in the end. At least in my experience of life/death cliffhangers, the person always turned out to be alive

Neither did Cosima defy death just so she can live a life without her greatest love. That's not why she came back.

Word. I don't care if GM and JF are worried about Delphine and Cosima taking over their show. There needs to be a reunion, and they need to do it right.

I know, right?? But I'm quite sure that's why they decided to take Delphine out of the picture this season (aside from Ebro's schedule, which I bet could have been worked around to some extent). They thought that too many fans were paying attention to that relationship to the exclusion of other aspects of the show. Which, let's be honest, is sorta true!
