Do you have something in mind? The three I can remember are all a bit too wordy:

(and honestly I don't like the last quote as to me it implies nothing romantic is between them by the end of the season).

I was thinking about: That doesn’t mean that connection is gone. That doesn’t mean you will never be together, ever again, either.
