The story is great, but you have to watch to simply marvel
at the talent of Tatiana Maslany to be able to pull a role like this off on TV.
The medium has never seen anything like it,
and if her performance isn’t Emmy worthy,
I’m not sure why we even have Emmys.

I can't remember which media outlet it was from, but Tat was listed at one of the 21 most kickass women on tv on a list I read last night.

They used Helena for the blurb but she was in pretty decent company.

tftnt I love the title It is so true!! She is amazing I don't think too many other people could pull off all the characters the way Tatiana does. She is flawless.

This is the first thing I have ever seen her in and I will definitely be checking out her future projects

I still feel as though Tat winning an Emmy NOW is a super empty gesture (she should have won after S1, when OB was on top), but it would still feel great to her if she won, I'm sure.

I've been a huge Viola Davis fan since she ripped my guts out in Doubt back in 2008. Plus, she gave the speech of the night. I don't even care for HTGAWM, but they can hand awards to Davis all damn day and I'll never complain. Quite a remarkable night for women of color and queer women in general.

As for Tat, I didn't think she'd win. And while I'm always rooting for her personally, S3 was OB's worst season by far, and the thought of seeing it rewarded in any way made me a tiny bit squeamish. Not enough to want her to lose, but certainly enough that I wasn't one of those people breathlessly hoping for a win. Luckily, I think she's one of the few people who actually means it when she says, "It's an honor to be nominated." It is. She should be proud.

It would be nice if GM could pull a deserving season out of his ass for her next year.

I agree, HTGAWM is pretty basic and a shonda show through and through but viola is fantastic in the role and very deserving of the award. and yes, her speech was emotional and on point. hats off to her.

as for tat, it truly is an honor for her to be just nominated because the sad truth is that as long as viola and taraji are rocking it and the material they get is good, tat stands no chance. you're only as good as the writing and the writing for OB last season was abysmal.
