Exactly, and with a show like OB, making it go on longer just means the conspiracies are going to get crazier. At some point the clones are just going to want to put it to rest and enjoy their lives to the best that they can.

But someone really needs to help cure them before it ends.

Jordan Gavaris isn't my favorite person on the issue of Delphine's return, but he did an interview with the LA Times where this question came up...but it doesn't sound like he's talking about Tony at all:

Yes. I push for it all the time.

I think it’s safe to say that if the characters aren’t dead, then there’s hope that we’ll see them again. There’s hope that all familiar faces will return. I think everyone, they get very excited when things happen on the show because they think that’s it or there’s a sense of finality.

But everyone should wait to see how the mystery plays out. Because it is, it’s a mystery. Until the very last episode of this series, you can’t say with certainty that anybody’s dead or that anybody’s missing or whatever. We’ll have to wait until the very last episode.

I'm with you, it doesn't sound like he's talking about Tony. It sounds like he's feeling very defensive about all the Delphine talk and is taking any opportunity to mention it without actually being asked about Delphine.

But if he were talking about Tony/Felix, if Tony does come back I really do hope that they don't go the romantic route with them because that kiss was very uncomfortable.

Lol it's probably too early to be popping out the champagne, but he's definitely not talking about Tony by the end of his answer. The vague "all familiar faces" and then "they think that's it or there's a sense of finality" doesn't apply to the Tony situation in any way whatsoever. I suppose JG could be talking about the Castor Clones as Ari will pop up again at some point despite everyone thinking the show has moved on from the male clones, but the likelihood is that he's talking about Delphine because that's the only mystery and departure in the show that has people talking and "excited", albeit a negative excitement.

I wonder if the all time low ratings have them all panicked?

Maybe now that the season is finally here they don't have to be so secretive anymore and can drop some hints here and there... We'll never know if the numbers have anything to do with what they say, just as we won't know for sure if Delphine coming back was always the plan. Honestly, I don't care as long as she comes back and they get better at saying things (as in, not offending people).

I wouldn't be surprised if they were concerned about the ratings, but knowing them they'd chalk it up to the new time slot.

Yep, Evelyne produced her usual 20% spike in 409 and there were still a lot of holdouts. Now that her presence is assured next week, it will likely be higher. Plus, it's the finale, so....
