Katrina brought out the worst aspects of Crane's personality. She was poison to him wrapped in secrets and lies.

Pandora is really awesome! I love the actress and the character! Lol!

They are the two witnesses from different times after all! Still got to remember that Crane is from the 17th century.

Totally agree with what you've said above and that Abbie brings out the best in Crane. I think we've always had glimpses along the way of the man Crane could and would become. His joy when Abbie told him slavery was abolished. His bravery on the battlefield as Captain Crane. His keen and at times humorous knowledge of historical facts and figures. His acceptance of Abbie (most unusual of a man from his time) It just shows how intelligent and progressive he really is. His immersion into the supernatural even before he meant Abbie. He just needed the catalyst to ignite the call on his life and Abbie has proven to be that catalyst. I love that he hasn't completely lost his 17th century manners and gentility. He in turn, has helped Abbie become the person she too was always meant to be. He's bought her out of her shell and helped her come to terms with the call on her life. He's stepped up at the end of the season 2 debacle (by putting Katrina and Henry out of their misery) and since his 9 month sabattical he has been there for Abbie every step of the way. She's still processing a lot of stuff but Crane is completely on board. Together, they bring out the best in each other. And, I too love Pandora and think Shannyn has played her brilliantly

I agree with your post.

I am happy that Crane still has some of those great qualities from his centuries as he has gotten used to how it is in the modern era. He still has those moments where he is so confused with how much the world changed and of course Abbie is there to help him out.

I will just always feel sad that Crane is on the list of people who abandoned Abbie.

Although I doubt he'd ever do that again, it's sad.

I hate to admit this, but I think it was good for Crane to leave for a while, go on walkabout. He killed his wife, the woman he loved, to protect Abbie. That was bound to color how he saw himself for a while. Yeah, he abandoned Abbie, but if he didn't leave for a while things could have gotten really bad between them.

We're always talking about how bad Crane has been to Abbie, but what about the place Crane was in? She's had emotional damage, more than any human should go through, but so has Ichabod. He lost his era, found out his best friend was turned into DEATH. He killed his wife, the woman he loved.

I do agree with you but I think it's bad he only called Abbie back when he needed to get bailed out of jail because it makes me wonder how long he would've been gone if he didn't get arrested.

I definitely understand Crane but I'm still sad about how everything happened.

Honestly, who else would have Crane called? Yeah, it sucks for the circumstances, but Abbie is really the only one he has. And I think he was well on his way to coming back to her with the tablet when he got nabbed by the Feds for bringing in the tablet.

I agree that she's the only one he could've called but being away nine months and then popping out with, "OH! I'm back and in jail... sorry about abandoning you." I'm just saying if it were me, I would have been a bit more bitter than Abbie.

I see your point but I also didn't like the way it was handled.

Luckily things are all forgotten and they seem to have that strong relationship back.
