I'm officially against an Ichabbie hook up in season three. I'm tired of people claiming Katrina was killed for the sole purpose of making room for Ichabbie to become canon. Nope, I want the show to build itself up with a kick-ass storyline, get a season four and then hit us with the nastiest, filthiest Ichabbie love scene they can get away with on network television.

In a perfect world, Id be all for more foreplay and build up too, but I dont know how much time we will get. The recent pull out of SDCC and headlines about Betsy Ross has me feeling skeptical (will reserve judgement until show airs) but either way right now I will take whatever Ichabbie we can get. The sweeter they make it for them this season, the better.

Websites love click bait, and that’s exactly what that Betsy Ross article was. From the use of Angelina Jolie’s name, to making it sound as if the character was gonna be the new Abbie, the writer knew what they were doing. Lots of ideas are thrown around in the early stages. Some come to fruition, and some don’t, e.g. Abbie and Hawley sharing a kiss in last season’s mid-season finale. I personally don’t care whether Betsy Ross shows up or not, but like a lot of fans, I’ve had it with the show’s focus on Crane’s romantic life, while totally ignoring Abbie’s.

Don't forget, the people claiming that K-wife was killed off because of the 'noisy' fans demanding Ichabbie were also the ones who ignored the severe drop in ratings and demo, the poor storylines that were repeatly commented on by entertainment writers, the misogynistic storylines, and the character assassination.

These are the same people who think that K-wife having no powers was cute, that her fainting was adorable and that her only redeeming feature seemed to be how "pretty" she was.

I'm sorry, but I want more in my TV shows. I want engaging storylines and interesting characters that I root for and a world that I am interested in. Those people never wanted any of this. They just wanted their ship.

And isn't that the irony. That they claim we are the ones who only care about the Ichabbie ship, yet the only thing they cared about was the Red-Magicless-Fainting-Wonder. Interesting, when we all know all of us here want so much more for the show.

The Betsy Ross article is the same as most of the higher profile casting or character announcements from the past two years. They either released an article of someone like Jefferson or Ben Franklin being a character on the show, and/or a more higher profile actor cast in a role. Obviously we are going to be getting a flashback.

My problem with it is two-fold. Actually three. It made a good joke at the time but that's it. I don't want to see more. We need to see more of Crane knowing "regular folks". Or how about him interacting with other people in the 21st century. My two real problems with it are 1.) The Mr. and Mrs. Smith part. That alone makes me side-eye. Why. We already have that in Ichabbie. And 2.) The inevitable mention of the Red-Magicless-Fainting-Wonder that I have only given (in my head) an allowance of two mentions before I start drinking too much wine and cursing Goffman and this show again.

Honestly - I think we have a season 3 and that's it.

they were going to say that regardless. she could have survived and died in season 3 and the stans would have said it was to make ichabbie canon. really it wouldn't matter when she died. that would have been their position. i doubt we'll get anything with ichabbie this season. more flirting, getting caught staring, longer touches. stuff like that i can see happen this season. hopefully the show will do well enough for us to see a season 4 and then yeah no holds barred then. if we can move beyond just hugs i'll be happy. because at least it'll feel like they're going to go in that direction eventually.

And they are still at it. For a group of people who claimed they were through with the show, they seem to keep showing up online whenever anything is posted... mostly wishing for the third season to flop so there won't be a fourth.

I still can't believe there are people out there who think Fox and the producers should have continued to let the show bleed viewers just to appease a group of lovesick fangirls and few horny boys (@MacLives from SpoilerTV).

A few years back The Good Wife had a troublesome storyline involving Kalinda and her abusive husband. Fans and some critics loathed it. When the ratings and fan response took a turn for the worse, head writer Michelle King ended the storyline and admitted it was a bad move. She said they wanted to push buttons and chose the wrongs ones (abuse and domination).

Sleepy Hollow’s head honchos have admitted doing the same. Lots of errors were made, and unfortunately they were so poorly carried out that the only way to solve them was to get rid of all those involved.

You know what’s funny though? The only characters to survive the bloodbath ended up being the very characters who were sidelined in the story all season. Ironic, don’t you think?

Abbie makes the best facial expressions. In my dirty little mind I look at this screen cap and think Ichabod said something dirty to her. Like he's interested (in his serious Crane voice) in trying out her favorite yoga move, in the bedroom. Her expression is the reaction to his comment.

Fic writers can yall get on that. Maybe, perhaps. Someday. Please.

Darla That screen cap gives me images of Ichabod turning to Abbie, staring at her, as he closes the distance between them. Abbie backs up and is pressed between Ichabod and the tree truck. She gasps just as he angle his head to kiss her, to ravish her mouth with all the secret passion he keeps locked down in regards to her. he needs to taste to, to know if she is the sweetest nectar ever known to a man that he would forsake the world just for one more kiss.
