As for Ichabod and Abbie I much prefered the HUMBLE Ichabod in face of the 21st century when he was still finding his way with Abbie there to guide him. He was much more his true self in those moments with her than he would have even been with Katrina.

I agree! While I love that Ichabod is starting to pick up in things, e.g. The online video game, and wondering why it was taking so long to connect to the internet in the old library, lol, it's been 250 years! He can't be acclimated that soon, and he was so much more humble when Katrina didn't infiltrate their gang.

Ichabod playing the online Video Game was hilarious, but even with his eidetic memory, as you put it, he wouldn't be used to things THAT QUICKLY. His character has aclimatized to things WAY TOO FAST......

TFTNT! The title is certainly true and yet, the show is trying to force us to love a couple who has the least amount of chemistry I've ever seen between a married couple.

Too bad it won't really work. lol Even if people stopped shipping Ichabbie, it won't turn more people over to Ichabod/Katrina.

Sometimes you might just don't want pairings at all, and want Abbie with someone else, Crane alone and probably Katrina with Abraham.

On the writers trying to SHOVE DOWN OUR THROATS the Ichabod and Katrina endless love BS.... I'm working on my fanfic ON THE OUTSIDE where I'm getting things back to Ichabod and Abbie. I just wrote this part and I wanna know what y'all think about it.

Ichabod took Abbie’s left hand, taking his place beside her once more. “No matter what heartache you think it will cause me, yes, I would like your honest opinion.” He could see the war being waged inside of her. She wanted to spare him, and at the same time she wanted to spill every word to keep with the honesty she had always given him. “I’m an adult; I can handle whatever it is you want to tell me.” Ichabod assured.

“I think…” Abbie licked her lips, “Katrina brings out the wrong side of you. She blinds you to what’s going on when the danger rises. You don’t care what happens when Katrina is involved.” Abbie stopped talking as her words flooded out in a rush. She hadn’t meant to say it like that, to be harsh, but she had to tell Ichabod the truth. At least she owed him that much. He came back to Purgatory for her.

Ichabod wanted to deny what Abbie was saying, wanted to argue like he knew he should, but his tongue would not form the words of protest. There was the marginal amount of anger, of denial running through him at her words. Then there was this small part of him, the modern part that agreed with her. He asked, “How can you say this?” Ichabod made no move to pull his hand away, nor did he leave the bed.

In a nervous twitch Abbie ran her thumb back and forth across Ichabod’s knuckles. “I started to see it when we went to free her from Headless Horseman. You didn’t care that if you went in there you could get yourself killed, that you could get me killed.” She said quickly averting her gaze from his. She couldn’t say what she wanted to say while she was looking at him. “When she’s the one in danger; death has no meaning for you, nor does my life. That night, if we didn’t have the Kindred, you and I wouldn’t be having this conversation. She blinds to everything but what’s happening to her and her alone; like you’re bewitched or something.” This time she took her hand from him and placed it over his heart. “You asked for my honesty, and I’m giving it to you not just because we share dreams, or because you saved me. I value you…”

I think the show is almost guaranteed a third season, which I am hoping is the case, however hopefully someone steps in and redirects the current writers or gets the old writers back and returns the show to the formula that has worked.
