Loved the episode. Well, most of it, there are some things/unanswered questions I didn't like.

1. I'm happy to have Sam back. Gadreel started to get on my nerves a long time ago. But why Tahmoh Penikett, why? Wasn't there a better actor available (I base this only on SPN, haven't seen him in anything else)?
2. What happened to the cars at the bunker? Wasn't there a garage full of them? And motorcycles?
3. I wish Castiel would grow some balls and say NO to Dean. At least once. And wasn't it Castiels' car, stolen or not? So why wasn't he allowed to drive it?
4. WHY did they kill Abner, one of the few decent angels out there?
5. WHY did they kill Cecily? Not only because she's a Castiel fangirl but mostly because she seemed interesting enough.
6. Did Crowley know all along that Sam was being possessed by an angel?
7. How can a demon (or a witch) possess an angel-possessed human?
8. Why not ask Gadreel about his plans when you have him tied up and unable to get away?
9. So tired of the brotherly co-depency. It worked years ago but now it's just creepy.



Now the good stuff.

1. Yeah, really happy to have Sam back but my, wasn't JP sexy in the warehouse scene? I loved his acting (as Gadreel) there, most of the time he was too robotic for me.

2. Great acting from all four main characters (Crowley included).

3. Some of the lightning was breathtaking.

4. Finally "the" talk between Castiel and Dean. Why not earlier in the season? Oh yes, the much needed drama....Still, I enjoyed it. Liked how understanding Castiel was and not judgemental at all.

5. Both Castiel and Dean unable to watch or hear Gadreel being tortured because he's still Sam somehow.

6. LOVED everything with Castiel. Finally my angel's back and I wanted nothing more than to pinch his nose.
Awwww, Captain Sexy. Yes, I'm pretty sure he heard every word of their conversation. And I also bet he wished he hadn't. He looked slightly taken aback. Or ashamed. I dunno. But it was cute. That leads to the questions WHAT Cecily and the angels know about his time as a human, do they know about the angels he killed for example?
Oh Castiel, how cute can you get with your little pimp car?
I like the new trenchcoat. Does it mean something that it's a different one? Who knows. Maybe it's supposed to show that he isn't quite the same anymore after his time as an human?



One thing I REALLY hope won't be forgotten and swept under the rug by the writers:
Why is Metatron so afraid of prophets that he ordered Gadreel to kill Kevin and made sure no new prophet would be called?

I do agree that Tahmoh wasn't at his best in the last episode, but you should see him in Battlestar Galactica! Or even Dollhouse.

There were plenty of cars! I know. That is one inconsistency I don't care much about though cause I love Cas' car!

I loved Cecily. I think she was there to show the difference between how Crowley and Abaddon handles things but then they shouldn't have made her so likeable! She was there for a few scenes and we care about her already!

I don't think Crowley knew there was an angel inside Sam, but he knew something was up.

Metatron wants to keep everything secret, no more translating or visions, that way he has all the cards.
