I think they did this on purpose, to appease both sides of the fans. Because half the fans want them together, the other half see them as “family.” But I’m with you, this whole love confession and not even a hug or a response from Dean..

It's VERY hard to watch, and not cry over. It's all we ever wanted, a confession! Glad we got it in the end, even if it wasn't in the way we wanted.
