God is supposed to exist in all times at once so he should be able to see all variable futures. Did he really look at what we've been watching and think, "That's the one I'm going with" because I'm sure there are things he could've done to steer things in a better direction.

What do we know about spn God?

a) he may or may not be older than Death
b) he created Leviathans, Eve, angels, humans, and animals
c) he locked the Darkness away and made the key a sigil worn on flesh
d) he tricked his secondborn archangel into wearing it and then when he started suffering the psychological effects of the mark just tossed him out of heaven and into Hell
e) he had a random angel (Metatron) write down his holy magic words onto two tablets
f) he said **** it and started a flood that wiped out most of humanity
g) he brought Castiel back from the dead
h) he zapped the Winchester brothers away from Lucifer's portal out of hell
i) according to Metatron he is a little sexist but fair and once laughed at his jokes
j) he sometimes talks to the angel Joshua
k) he has been for the most part an absent father/creator for the last couple of millenniums

what if SPNgod can't do much because he's been put in a cage himself? It would explain his disappearance.

Cas was the only thing that was really interesting to me in this episode honestly. I hate that he's having PTSD and Agoraphobic tendencies as well. I want to hug him. I'm glad he beat the crap out of Metatron too. He deserves so much more than that as well.

The teenage Amara touching and looking Dean up and down as well is just disturbing and gross and needs to stop. It's very wrong in so many ways.

Dean was also being very hypocritical with Cas at the end as well.

The Cage at the end was exciting!
