Well, he DID cast him in a small role for Much Ado, but I'm sure it's due to both of their scheduling conflicts. I was honestly surprised he was able to shoot Much Ado with the rigorous schedule Castle demands of him!

I read they worked around his castle schedule. He did his scenes at weekend, that must have been insane working that much.

It was probably more like a fun day with friends that work for him.

I love how he has this inner circle of friends/actors and that they can cross over into each other's shows/films. No other director in Hollywood has that, he's the only one.

And they're all ALWAYS available when Joss call's them up too I imagine. He's just someone everyone keeps wanting to work with again and again.

And I love how it goes both ways, that HE (Joss) wants to keep working with his actors, because their connection goes beyond a mere actor/director bond, they're truly his friends.
