Nathan Fillion, born March 27, 1971 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to Bob Fillion and Cookie Fillion. He's an Canadian-American actor and voice actor best known for his role as Richard Castle on the ABC series Castle, as well as his earlier portrayal of the lead role of Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the TV series Firefly and its feature film continuation, Serenity.
