Heidi - I can't recall a time I ever shopped on Black Friday. I don't like big crowds so I would NOT do well. Besides, I do most of my shopping online anyway, now.

I never do Black Friday shopping. I get very anxious in crowds, and rambunctious crowds are even worse.

Well, I did buy one thing late Thursday - a plane ticket. It's my turn to visit my TBBT comod - I visited her in 2012 in LA, 2014 we went to a con together in Florida, she visited me in Michigan early this year, and now in 70 days I'm off to L.A. again!

All y'all's talk of snow is baffling to me! Actually, 30 minutes of our Thanksgiving dinner was devoted to my cousins discussing which snow blower is the best? One lives in Boston, one in Minnesota & my brother is from Denver so the rest of us were at a loss and just sat amazed and thankful we don't have to deal with any of that!

Last spring I bought my brother a new riding mower and for the next several weeks that's all he talked about when we would call each other. I particularly remember when he discovered that he could get a snow blower attachment for it. He was all excited because he'd seen video of it in action and it would blow snow over 20 feet. My brother lives in central North Carolina, and gets snow maybe three times a year. But he wants that snow blower so bad! It's only $3,000.

It's like the Tim Allen (from Home Improvement, the TV show) complex! He's one of those people who always has to have the latest and coolest thing, even if they don't need said thing.

My dead days were this weekend after Thanksgiving but now it's the first of the month so we're busy as hell. Oh well, I guess it makes the time go by fast, that's looking at it positively. Nicole, have fun in Kentucky!
