If Maroni is in fact dead; what's going to happen to Dent now? If Maroni's dead, then Dent doesn't become Two-Face and Dent goes on to live a good law-abiding life like he should. Is this what the writers are planning or do they have a different plan for him? I don't think Maroni is dead though; unless the writers create another one.

I love Crazy!Barbara and even if I assumed Jason killed her parents, I like this better, too. No one expected her to be upset that Jason was dead, but she had an odd look in her face when Jim found her. I totally ship Ogre/Barbara and they'll both rot in hell forever. I expected more from the fight between Fish and Oswald, I really did. I did like seeing Ed start to go crazy, though. I want to see less of Bruce digging. The secret room was too much and it's supposed to be Bruce's cave, not his father's. The show is supposed to be about Jim, Harvey and their doomed quest to clean up Gotham. __________________

That was a crazy finale. A lot of things happened.
I wonder if this means no more mob type story lines for season 2. I hope so. Barbara went totally psycho. I'm glad they didn't kill her off. Everyone knew Fish was leaving. So I wasn't surprised on how she went out. Bruce found what appears to be the Batcave. Since we heard bats. Hopefully will see it in season two. __________________

I agree that was one crazy finale. Loved what went down with all the mob stuff and Gordon, his partner, Fish, and Penguin. That was an interesting touch to find Selina working with Fish. Knew that whatever Barbara had undergone would drive her to this point of madness and to talking to Lee about it and just going off was crazy. Liked that Bruce is finding out more secrets and of course the Bat stuff that is inevitable. I wonder what next season will dive more into.

Well done episode.
Barbara always seemed a little off when she was not with Jim. She seemed just to be digging when she talked with Leslie, digging for info. This seemed to be fueling her. Why in the heck did the Doc agree to medically/pshychologically treat her at HER apartment. Cray-zee. Barbara seemed ok until she spoke of what happened to her with the Ogre, then she went off and got psycho. Is she drugged or brainwashed? Or just plain bat doodoo crazy? I really like the way the crime boss story went. It was well written and interesting. It seems I finally know who they all are as it was confusing with the names and faces for a while. Fish was all Road Warrior. She seems to become more and more that way with each injustice to her or injury. I wonder how she will come back when we see her again. She is not dead imo. I've enjoyed each of her incarnations. Nygma, oh makes me sad, I had a soft spot in my heart for the guy, but now his personality splintered. Oh, ha ha ha, he used my joke from a post somewhere. Here? Oh no, we are connected............................... I did not like that Cat was employed by Fish. I will miss the Selina Kyle we've know this season and her innocence. She will most likely become the leader of the pack in S2. The secret cave. Hmmm. Seeing it................ Bruce is still so young, however, in RL he is young and will probably be much more mature next season and I guess, Batman has to start his training early. I guess. Did Alfred know of the cave? Not sure. |

Great episode in my opinion
Wish all eps were this action packed, even though there haven't been much surprises except for Maroni's death. I thought it was a bit ooc for him to be so disrespectful to Fish, their interaction felt a little forced honestly and I'm sad he's gone, because he was really entertaining to watch. Also sad about Fish, but we knew this was coming. I definitely DO NOT think she's dead! First of all, Robin said it's unclear what happens to her, second of all, before falling she said to Butch that it's okay and that she'll get through this, and that's true, Fish is a survivor, and she'll make it out alive. Besides, she fell into the water, and fish doesn't drown speaking of Butch, how cute they were together? Fish being so tender with him was really sweet to watch. Selina suddenly turning bad went out of nowhere, especially her not wanting to help Gordon out Don't understand Jim/Oswald situation at all. Why Jim was so indifferent if Oswald dies or lives? He saved his ass three times before and now he's willing to leave him there? Jim should stop treating him like dirt. I don't know how I feel about Barbara. I dislike Lee but I was completely rooting for her when B attacked her. even though B is one of my favorites, this new crazy version of her is quite off putting, and I'm tired of her being so fixated on Jim. I guess Orge did brainwash her to some extent, but does this mean she's going to jail or to Akraham now and we won't see her in s2? __________________

Good episode last night. My biggest gripe was that it did feel like Selina turned "bad" out of nowhere. Seriously, were did that come from? My only guess is that she's having some kind of breakdown after pushing that guy out the window. That's why she joined Fish's army so easily. Hope we find out in S2 what's going on with her.

^Exactly, I'm bummed it wasn't explained. Selina has always been her own person, why would she suddenly need to join some questionable group of strangers? And the fact that she was basically letting Gordon to die...

now that i'm over my initial rage, i can honestly say that i found the finale... boring! although, i totally appreciate the concept of a majority of the cast all locked up in one place for an entire episode, there were far too many plot holes for me to even enjoy the anarchy. i was literally sitting there pondering fish's recovery from being shot the first time! and selina just, OUT OF NOWHERE, is a member of fish's new uprising? also, them trying to make falcone into a ~good guy!? no, no, no.
this would have made a great season two premiere, if the writers didn't waste the past three episodes of this season! barbara's storyline was totally unnecessary and i truly don't care about nygma and kringle. these subplots should have been moved or entirely ditched and fish/selina/falcone should have had the back story they needed for this climax to make an impact. |
