I don't think it has to do with school, since Danny Two Hats was there.

She's either on a coma, or something else happened.

Maybe he has gotten better enough with medication to go.

Or yeah I guess they just could consider him part of the main cast and did it.

Yea, that's true, and it would be awesome to see him getting better. Though I don't see that happening, but hopefully I'm wrong.

The new video of them talking about S2 is so awesome.

i think it's because of that Heather, and they are also closer to Rae than the other characters.
