I really really want to see both his father and hopefully we will see Mycroft. I really hope they don't merge the father and Mycroft into one character. Because it would be too much fun if Sherlock had Mycroft to turn to when his father comes at him. Or if Mycroft and Sherlock gained up on their father together.

Based on statements from Doherty and the way they've treated this version of the character thus far, I honestly believe that they've chosen to change the relationship between Sherlock and Mycroft from brother/brother to father/son, and am curious as to why this would be upsetting to some people, especially in light of what else this show has decided to do with regards to the classic Holmes mythos and characters.
Anyway, back to Sherlock and Irene/Moriarty. I'm hoping we don't have to wait too long to see her return because, although I still haven't had a chance to watch the final eps, I really want to know more about their relationship and see it evolve. __________________
