I miss her, I didn't realise that she would be leaving so soon! I really hope she gets to come back sometime. Its strange, they had two seasons without her and she was only in half a season, but now the show is going to feel empty without her.

Their scenes did not help either, especially the flashback scenes and all the touching moments between these too. Their friendship is so wonderful

She left so so soon, I really hope she comes back before the ending of the season. Such a great friendship, I admit I'm very surprised I thought they were going the romantic route.

Me too I didn't ship them romantically until this episode but after the ep I could see it definitely being able to go somewhere, but now she's gone...

I've liked Kitty from the start but this episode made me really like her, possibly as my second favourite character in the show, after Sherlock. They got me too attached and now I am upset that she is gone

I'm not ashamed to say I shipped them romantically from day one the only thing that stopped me was that it wouldn't have been professional from Sherlock.

Deep down I probably shipped them too. But like you said it wouldn't be professional and I really don't like shipping everyone... Besides I love friendships between man and woman, it's so rare in TV land. Oh, well, now it's too late for me...

I still am not sure what to think about Kitty's last line, when she said she loved him. What do you all think she meant, was she just talking about loving him as a friend or as something more? I feel like that was left as open to interpretation...

I feel like it was left open too, I guess it depends if she comes back now. but I think they rarely use LOVE in the romantic sense in this show, it's often a deeper connection than that.

I also appreciate a good male/female friendship like Benson/Stabler in SVU and here Sherlock/Watson, I love big friendship declaration but the shipper in me doesn't mind when it turns into love .

I think you are right, love is often used to mean something else in this show. I just thought that Kitty's comment about it being sad that she loved him was an odd thing to say and the fact that she hung up so quickly after it made me think she could mean romantically.

I think you're right it is definitely romantic on Kitty's part, makes it so sad!
