I love how Joan picked up on Moriarty's anger towards the kidnapper. She picked up on things that Sherlock did not. Perhaps because he was too close to the case or simply because sometimes she sees things he does not. Which I kinda like and enjoy.

Sherlock has a huge blindspot when it comes to Moriarty, so he probably missed a lot because he was too close(like you said). Still, its great that Joan can see Moriarty in a way that Sherlock can't.

Will she do something in the future to make her understand? I think now Moriarty knows Joan is a way to get to Sherlock.

I love that gifset above. Visually the women are color opposites, and their personalities are opposite yet of their coloring. (Yes, wordy, but I mean that the blonde woman is the one with darkness inside, and the black haired woman has light inside, etc.)
