Sorry guys, I was so psyched about the episode I forgot to post the thread
Man, what a ride ! It was the best conclusion we could have for this season. Shinwell's service was so sad, I thought his daughter would at least show up Watson was absolutely amazing, you could feel her rage, and so deep into revenge that she didn't notice something was wrong with Sherlock . I was sad that she wasn't with him in the hospital. I knew it ! Mystery lady doesn't exist, and she is the memory of his mother still I was shocked ! Watching Tyus' face crumble was probably the most satisfying event of my day __________________

Being I've watched Elementary since its inception 2012, coincidentally when House MD ended (my previous favorite show) which was based off Holmes (House/Holmes, Wilson/Watson, house apt 221B, both drug addicts/musicians, etc etc) I thought it would only be the right thing to do (especially since its on the low post list) to start posting here.
Too bad I joined recently at the end of the season. So what do you guys think is wrong with Sherlock? I mean it's obviously a brain problem, but what? Early onset Alzheimer's? Dementia? Is he turning into Greg House and using again and using so much that hes hallucinating? Did Sherlock relapse during Trainspotting 2 production, bahahha JK. I'm glad they finally added some more depth to the main characters, its been awhile. nothing big has really happened to Sherlock or Joan internally in awhile. It's all been outsiders and the day 2 day crime consultations. Anyway, hello i watch tons of tv and movies. So odds are I watch it or have at least heard of it |

There's one thing his mother said about his "memory box", she said it didn't help... So I wondered did he train his memory all his life because he felt like something was wrong with him? I agree it is really interesting, I'm ready for a Sherlock centered season ! __________________

Crazy it putting it mildly! OMG!! I'm kinda glad Sherlock doesn't have a stalker! I just wish he wasn't suffering some sort of neurological illness.

What interests/concerns me is whether it is going to be a long term condition or something they will resolve in the first few episodes. While i am sure that the writers and actors could tastefully explore the implications of a mental disorder it would definitely impact the format of the show and i don't know if they would be able to do that while maintaining the 'procedural' element of the show. __________________

Did anybody see a mass/tumor in Sherlock's MRI at the end? I couldnt tell because it went by so quick, so if there's anyone who recorded it so they can pause and can read MRIs let us know. I didnt see anything when it flashed maybe a small mass or intracranial bleeding? From what I know internal bleeding is not easy to spot on an MRI, i think an X-ray gun or CT scan would be easier for that.

Awesome finale. Poor Sherlock, I was wondering if something was up with him as I too noticed he had been sleeping more recently. While it was nice seeing a different side of Joan, I found it strange that even though she noticed that he had been sleeping and forgetting things lately she questioned it personally rather than medically. But then again maybe that was true to where Joan's head has been at these past couple of episodes.
I can't wait to see how far they take this storyline. __________________

DO you think these are the consequences of Shinwell's attack? That would be terrible for Joan. But it is very interesting for next season, how is Sherlock going to react to not being able to trust his senses anymore?! __________________

I did pause the screen on the brain scan and didn't notice anything but then again i am not a doctor so probably wouldn't notice anything less obvious than a huge mass in his head.
