I would love it too, Jeremy Irons would be so perfect in that role. He seems cold and is so charming. The bold is exactly why, though I still hope he didn't relapse I think he did I'm glad you let yourself charmed by this show and its great casting. __________________

I agree. I think he did relapse. While painful to watch, I think there will be some incredible acting and episodes as he gets back on the road to recovery. and you know he will. Yup, I'm hooked. I'd say "I can't wait for the next season", but there's the summer to think about. About casting his father, It occurs to me that Donald Sutherland would be great too. He's got the kind of presence one imagines Sherlock & Mycroft's father to have. Of course, physically they couldn't be less alike. Johnny Lee being a slight man. But then look at Sutherland's real son, Keifer. Last edited by Toni Boop; 06-15-2015 at 03:00 AM |

Donald Sutherland could've been good, but I am sure the guy they chose will be great

A very interesting review, with a lot of point we could discuss:
Elementary: “A Controlled Descent” The trump card has been played. Quote:

what they should do is just film a scene or two of Clyde in his tank/container and then just put it in every episode. They can just show the same scene over and over because Clyde doesn't do much and no one would notice __________________

Perhaps Clyde will play a pivotal role in Sherlock getting back on the straight and narrow. After all, Clyde needs him.
