“Absconded” – Holmes and Watson look into the death of a member of Holmes’ online beekeeping community who was a researcher looking into a deadly Northeast honey bee outbreak. During the investigation, they meet Tara Parker, a brilliant entomologist, academic and the leader of New York’s beekeeping society. Also, Captain Gregson enlists Watson’s services in an off-book investigation that helps him make a life-changing decision, on ELEMENTARY, Thursday, May 7 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Tony Award-winning actress Sutton Foster guest stars as Tara Parker.

This was a pretty good episode. At one point though, I felt like there were a few scenes missing.....

My fave line:

Watson: I don't have enough caffeine in my system to understand you right now.

I'm just done with it and I feel the same, I think the case had so many twists that it lost me. On the other hand, Loved the Gregson subplot, loved it way more. And it's always interesting to see Watson help people (while she can’t figure herself out).

It would have been funny if the new Chief was Moriarty

what? She did crazier things. I half expected it honestly.

I was surprised Gregson refused in the end.

I thought I missed something at the beginning cause after the commercial we see Sherlock in handcuffs and its like we MISSED A big chunk of something there. I thought I missed Sherlock tackling the officer to save him from the cyanide.

But there was so much going on in the episode that I now see they had to cut certain things to get it down to a decent run time.

i didn't really feel like it missed anything out, the handcuff scene was explained at least.

I think the problem was that the episode started in a weird place, with the end of another case which wasn't really relevant, at least that is what I felt.

Yes the handcuff scene was explained but I felt like it was packed with too many people and events. I have to rewatch it.

This episode just felt rushed and jammed with too many things. I liked it, I really did, but for me it was a little rushed.

if 45 minutes isn't enough I'd be ok with 1h30 episode with 45 minutes of case, and 45 minutes of character development!
