Yeah, that's what I learned in my research. It's also why I was disgusted by that woman and her sick child - she blamed Darren as if she thought she deserved his autograph. Some stars may sign autographs but just for a few minutes then leave, leaving some people without. That was where Darren shined, if he could, he signed every request every night.

Every performance Darren made sure each cast member got their place in the spotlight but what really impressed me was during his curtain call he took time to thank the audience members he carwashed, kissed, licked, or interacted with during the show.

From people I read about and talked with you just have to be connected. Either you know someone who knows Darren or he asks you to come back, for whatever reason. I had to laugh inside as I talked with several fans. One told me of his backstage experience but acted like that arrangement was top secret and classified - he said he couldn't talk about it, then looked at the people nearby. Some other fans talked about their experiences of meeting him elsewhere. These people acted like they were part of his family. I certainly met many unique people.
