Standard Avatars 2015
 

Hello Everyone! :wave:

It's that time again to submit standard avatars! I will do a mass move of all the avatars from two years ago into a new folder. It will still be accessible for the public to use. :nod:

Info & Schedule:

• There will be an overall of 5 avatars per board added to :ff:.
• All Moderators will pick 10 and the Graphics Team will then select the final 5 from those 10.
• Mods: Feel free to participate in the icon making process. Please be fair in selecting the avatars. :)

Schedule:

• TV Shows: Present ~ March 8th to March 22nd
• Female Celebrities ~ March 23rd to April 6th
• Male Celebrities ~ April 7th to April 21st
• Music Artists ~ April 24th to May 8th
• Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Fan Extras ~ May 29th to June 12th
• TV Shows: Past ~ July 12 to July 26th
• General Discussion ~ July 27th to August 10th

Rules:

• Please don't include any text on the avatars. (That means actual text or logo.)
• No animated avatars.
• All avatars must be 100px by 100px.
• All avatars should be a general representation of the board.
• You may submit up to 5 avatars (no more) per person per board.
• You may create your avatar(s) however you like - but no text or animation.
• Do not submit any previous standard avatars, or take another person's avatars claiming them as your own. You must make them yourself. :)

Please only submit avatars that you have made yourself. If you need help/suggestions please check out the thread here on the Fan Art board. You can see the icons we have already uploaded in the Edit Avatar page of your User CP.

I thought you didn't redo icons for past shows too.

No all the boards get redone every few years (I think it is two)

Deciding what to make icons for for this show is hard. There are too many things to fit into five icons.

I am glad I worked it out too but it was hard to narrow it down. That was tempting but I felt others fit the show better.

I do not envy you and Ilaria in picking ten to try and represent the show, and then the decision to bring those ten down to five will be hard as well. There are so many different aspects to represent.

Your icons are beautiful too Chelle, I especially love the Tom and Julia one.

i don't envy us the decision either :thud:. I'm glad we only have fifteen icons to choose from (presumably). I kinda wish that we could just say we want these five & not have to pick ten :lol:. It'd be wonderful if we could have an icon to represent all parts of the show but not sure if that'll be possible. Plus it would have to be the main five parts of the show & I'm not sure if I know what that'd be. I guess Bombshell, Hit List, Karen, Ivy, & something else :look:

I am sure that you and Ilaria will figure out something :hug:. Those would be important things to include. The last one could be any of the things represented in our icons though. Having Bombshell and Hit List included for me would be the main thing.

I agree it would be good to have both musicals included in the final five :nod:

I made my five just because I thought no one wlse would have made icons, if I knew...I'd have just waited for yours - so five less to choose from :lol:

Yeah we only have the one icon with Hit List people in it. I might change one of mine tonight so at least we have two to choose from then

The Wolf one? It's the one I like the less :lol: I've several HWQ stills of that scene, but I can never find a nice way to use them in icons.

Yep we choose ten & then those ten go into a vote for the five to be picked

But the vote isn't a poll, it's the team who decide

We pick the ten & then those ten are put in a poll to narrow it down to five. The graphics team used to do it but now everyone can do it (see the new announcement that Jerry put up about it)

I wish we could just pick the five since most likely we will be the only ones who vote or if others do they wont know the show. Plus if we did then we could make sure we got one Bombshell & one Hit List icon. Ideally i'd like one Karen & one Ivy icon too *sigh*. We used to be able to put in comments about the icons to try make sure we get certain things but no idea if we still can. I did it for Delta once to get an icon representing a certain era added, & then for NCIS to get all shows included. Then I know others have been making comments too from having to vote for other boards

The new announcement Chelle is talking about is here. The graphics team always voted to decide which of the five icons would be chosen and it will be no different now that everyone can vote.

I am unsure if you will still be able to make comments but it does not hurt to try if that is what you both want to see included :hug:.

Ilaria your icons are beautiful and should be included.

I am not sure but I know that Collins has been away lately which would cause some delays.
