The Sam character is so well-grounded. Interviews with Leslie Odom Jr. indicate that he's like that irl, too.
One of my favorite scenes in S1 was at Sam's church and he & Karen singing "Stand." Fantastic! ETA - I'm a fan of him, please add me!  __________________

Yeah, he's not the usual gay character we see in the shows. I loved the quote I used for the title, he loves theatre so much!

I love this character
 . Please add me to the list . I agree he's not the usual gay character. I like how he doesn't seem one bit stereotypical I just wish there was a better pic I could have made the banner with  __________________

Some people are so stupid they talk the bull but don't follow up with why they are saying the things they say. I think he's great and he's not playing the typical gay character he's a gay with a straight vibe to him and I really like it.

Such a shame that some people can't appreciate how great of a character he is. The stereotype doesn't represent every single gay person and I love that they chose to portray him the way they do.
