Derek's independent film credits include "First of May" (New Line) and "Home for Good" (Lionsgate). For the small screen, he has directed several BBC specials and a Mustang commercial, plus episodes of "Brothers and Sisters," "United States of Tara," "Lights Out" and "Awake." I agree
 Too bd that we didn't have the chance to see him with his child, it would have been awesome to hear again his sassy comments about kids - I don't think they'd have changed him in a man that adores babies and kids all of a sudden just because he had had one. __________________

No, they would've let him be himself and with Ivy she never wanted to change him and knew he wouldn't change his personality so it would have been great to see him a dad and see how he took to being a dad and Ivy a mom.
