Me too, that was awful Poor Max, Ryan was pretty much the closest thing to a father she had left. At least being with Mike and helping Gwen with the baby will help her deal with it

Exactly, they were more like father and daughter than uncle and niece by that point and it has to be killing her to think she lost him. I do think that Mike and Gwen/the baby will make things easier and hopefully in the future they all find out he's still alive.

True. I just can't help but think when she was worrying about him when he went to face Joe alone and how devastating it must be to think she actually lost him.

Apparently she would have been investigating Ryan's vigilante murders with Mike, not knowing it was him until Ryan was forced to out himself.

I'm disappointed we didn't get a 4th season because the plans they had sound pretty cool. I would have loved to see their reunion too.

I feel like most of the ending was sad moments. I actually haven't been able to watch the entire last episode because just seeing a clip of the very last few minutes and some gifs got me misty eyed. Like Max's face when they're looking for Ryan in the river.

In the interview one of the EP's mentioned that either Mike or Max secretly suspected that Ryan might still be alive. Which one do you think it would have been?

For me, I feel like it could definitely be either one but I can actually see Max suspecting it. I feel likeMike would be the one telling her she needs to let him go and that he's gone now.

It's a bit of a toss up for me. On the one hand Ryan is one of her last family members so I can see her being the one holding out hope. On the other hand I think because of her father dying in 9/11 she wouldn't want to hold on to the idea. When the towers fell I read that a lot of firefighters were initially 'missing' not dead so she may not want to get her hopes up the way she might have when her father died

I think that once they found out he was alive she'd be kinda mad at him for not telling her
