It was never about PJ vs. DJ for me, it was more about Pacey/Andie vs. P/J. I really hated Joey, I legitally yelled @ my TV 'she does NOT DESERVE MY PACEY' But still, I thought the finale was great. Heartbreaking, sweet, fun... and the very last scene was adorable, Dawson finally got his big chance.

Was Kevin involved with DC for all the seasons?

He wasn't. He left after the 2nd season I think, but he came back and wrote the finale.
I have said so many times that I want to watch this show, but knowing how it ends kind of ruins the fun

That explains SO MUCH! Seasons 1 & 2 were FLAWLESS, whereas the other seasons... meh. Even though you know the ending, if you're up for a teenage show that's actually good, I'd say watch the first 2 seasons of DC. Sometimes I like to pretend that's all there is to it because they really were amazing.

She was, she had lovely scene with Pacey, proving yet again why she was the perfect woman for him. I'm forever bitter about the KW interview where he said Pacey became 'worthy of Joey'. OH, HELL NO! Pacey was always a lot more than Joey ever deserved.

I was definitely more of a D/J shipper, so I was kinda disappointed when it ended up being J/P on the couch in the last scene. But at the same time, I never disliked Pacey and he probably annoyed me the least. For a guy who went through a lot of crap, it was nice to see him find happiness in the end

Oh, Dawson's Creek... loved it so much, I was addicted. Good old days...
I was a big Dawson and Joey fan, even though I thought she was annoying like hell, but I used to love them together. Kevin was responsible for the first two seasons and they were great. Plus, he wrote a great finale, but it was changed in the last minute, so I pretty much hated it.

Seriously, it is SO GOOD. I remember a few people complaining, saying that 'teenagers don't talk like that' but that's what's so great about DC. You have this group of teenagers who go through pretty much all the crap most teenagers have to go through but they're so charming while they're at it.

Now I want to watch the first 2 seasons again.
