What an incredible episode for them!

They were working together like detective boyfriends

Alec learned about Magnus' father and it did not make him think any less of him

They saved the day

But honestly my favorite part was Alec being so in love with the shampoo Magnus made and wanting some for himself

Them working together was fantastic and I truly did enjoy all their scenes, but I just wish they were more physically intimate... and I don't mean kissing or having sex. I just mean I wish there was more touching... I watch the hetero couples on this show and the difference between Malec and them is sometimes very obvious. I get that Alec is not one to really wear his heart on his sleeve and that they might just be one of those couples that aren't really comfortable with PDA... I just want a little more intimacy with them.

I mean a big bulk of the episode was them being "undercover" or going to a party, which was essentially a business thing for Magnus, or Alec trying to lead people at the Institute. I understand what you're saying for sure. I guess it just doesn't bother me. Or rather in this episode it didn't bother me.

Yeah, I get that. I think I am just being picky. I love Malec a lot and Matt and Harry do such a wonderful job... sometimes I think the writing just kind of lacks for them
