finally finished my rewatch and ready for the new season

overall I enjoyed the season, glad they kept the foundations of the book and added a few of their own surprises
great to see the development of characters , friendships and relationships

so my cousin only watched the movie so far and now ive introduced him to the show
so I'm rewatching it with him

seems to be enjoying it but now wants to read books as well to make ore sense of it all but I did my best to explain things

That's great! I've been rewatching the first season also and it's been fun! I can understand how things on the show might be initially confusing if you haven't read the books and don't have all the background info.

Perhaps the S&S bit of the title could be removed?

It is definitely confusing at first but I think it gets better as the season goes along. I just think there is so much going on in the first couple of episodes.

There's a lot of world building and terms thrown out

It takes a bit to get used to.

Yeah, I was bored so I rewatch it and I notice on how they went too rush that they didn't give it process on what happening..

I guess they wanted to set up intro so things were moving a bit quick

I think they did too and especially Clary was rushed into the world maybe that's why they were moving everything so quickly

Yeah plus I think that they didn't know if they plan to pick up the show or not..
