Yeah it's hard as he wants to stay for his siblings but wants to leave because of Kieran.

I think, hopefully by the next book, Mark will be fine.

I think he is more torn because he has spent many years in the wild hunt and has grown used to that life, not mainly because of kieran.

No doubt the love he has for his family will make him whole again, and i have to admit i see christina becoming his friend, confidant and anchor and hopefully..something more

I think it was probably more Kieren that made him want to stay with the wild hunt. He said on several cases that Kieren made it bearable, so if Kieren hadn't been there then he wouldn't have stayed. And in the end when you took Kieren out of the equation it was pretty much a done deal for him to stay.

Definitely, that's what absolutely broke my heart, especially when then Kieren basically betrayed him in a way.

I felt bad for Kieren though. He just has no clue how to deal with love, no good example. And he clearly had no idea how Mark was going to be punished. I'm not saying it's ok he did that, but it's sad that it backfired on him so spectacularly.

It's sad

I guess the love that he has seen in his life is different to what he imagined. I would imagine he was sheltered especially since he was of royalty.
