^^ It is something actor Dominic Sherwood was born with called Heterochromia.

But it works well with the character, and as a non-book reader so far, you wouldn't know that it is a character trait of Jace's too.

Yes I read that he has heterochromia when I googled about him. After I saw this thread I went back to watch the episodes with a brighter screen

Oh wow was it a coincidence that Dominic has the trait or were the casting people specifically looking for people with heterochromia?

Yes I read through his profile. But i don’t remember watching any of them. Yet he looked familiar when i first watched the show.
