Yeah that's true. I think Valentine likes using people as seen with how he did with the Circle and his followers. But it will be interesting to see if he does generally care for Jace in later episodes.

I definitely want to see scenes with Jace and Jocelyn. I want to see Jace confronting her especially since she tried to kill him.
