I do wonder though if the doctor will make anymore appearances because he does work at the hospital so they might come into contact with him if seeking a mundane for information or something.

I agree as well, Simon should be the new love interest for Izzy and Maia/Jordan need to mend their relationship.

I'm hoping the doctor won't make another appearance since they were just at the hospital and he wasn't around. Ideally it will stay that way

I'm hoping the same, that he'll just stay away.

But I think he was in paediatrics too, so he wouldn't be in the same emergency areas of the hospital. Either way, he's gone ATM and needs to stay that way!

I think Izzy's line about it not working out while they were in the hospital was the show's way of saying he won't be seen again

If he is for some dumb reason I'm sure it'll just be in passing.
