Howdy everybody. My name's Pammie and I'm a fairly new fan I started reading the books on my nook and then got the first four in a box set in paperback for Christmas. I am on page 113, Chapter 6 'Wake the Dead' of City of Fallen Angels. I am really enjoying it. Like all books that get to be really popular I generally stay either A) Oblivious or B) away for as long as possible I did the same with The Hunger Games series before hands only to discover a new favorite in them. So maybe following the way of the trout down the stream in reading doesn't always send you to bad reads if you listen to the right rec.'s. I had just been burned a ton of times before in the past. See I'm 26 so back in my day when I was 'suppose' to be reading YA people were telling me to read Babysitters Club and Sweet Valley High and I was not enjoying being force feed that stuff I liked supernatural and adventure and intrigue so I turned to adult books and then more recently when Young Adult books have gotten more my style I decided to dive back in, sure I get judged sometimes but some of the YA books are better then the bulk of the adult books out now in quality. I really love the journey of self discovery and the romance that comes with a YA story. So thats a little bit about my journey to TMI and how I got here. Its nice to meet those of you I don't know.

Hi Pammie! I'm Audrey.
I got my cousin interested after showing her the trailer, but I think she's waiting to see the movie before reading the books. There's still time to convince her to read first. |

My cousin did the same with my copy of The Perks of Being a Wallflower last year. She didn't read it but she kept it for the longest time.
