I don't really understand the reaction to be honest

I was a little underwhelmed with how much they hyped this episode up for Malec, and then we only got about 3 minutes actually with them

But all the consent worries never even entered my mind

For me its annoying tbh.
You can do and you can overdo and this whole "rape" thing is such an overdo.

And while I understand their frustration and agree that there is a double moral when it comes to shirtless kiss scenes and stuff - what expect they to happen with that kind of behaviour?

It's a shame they keep on spoiling the Malec scenes and we get very little of them in the episodes. I really hope they stop it but I don't think they will since they know Malec has a large fanbase.

I get some of the complaints but it did seem extreme. I would have preferred a bit more to Malec than a fade to black but ... overall it a good scene. It showed the excitement of a new love and all of that.
