add me pweasee i didnt like simon until he bacame a vampire then when we got his pov for th last two books he became a fav ofmine and as im reading i can seriously picture robert as simonnnnnn and i love robert cuz he was awesome on misfits hehe

I had issues with Simon being a vampire at first. But I've grown to love him.

Yeah I was to keen on it at first either after I read another book that put everything in but the kitchen sink with different supernatural elements, but I think they handled it very well!

It shocked me when he became one, but I liked that he's still coping with it and knows he's not a very good vampire. It's more believable that it wasn't some instant transformation and he got used to his vampirism in one book.

And I agree, Tara. I was kind of taken aback at how up to the brim the books were with the supernatural creatures. Especially since Simon was the last actual mortal main character then he changed too, but I love him all the same.

Oh no I was talking about a different book (that was going to be a series) that I thought was written pretty badly. Didn't know how to handle all these different supernatural elements. It felt like they just put them together just to have it there. I think The Mortal Instruments did a wonderful job like Harry Potter did with Wizards and all their supernatural being. If that make sense.

No TMI did an awesome job interweaving all the supernatural elements, I just felt amazed at how all of them were in there, lol. I'm used to just solely vampire books with some werewolves, or warlock books, but not so much all of them together. But TMI pulled it off. Simon turning into a vamp was surprising but it was good.
