Just read chapter 6.
The beginning of Will's Demon Pox obsession I love all the scenes between Will and Jem. It's the most important relationship in this series, the bond between these two boys and their love for one another.I don't trust Mortmain, definitely up to something I think. And I still don't like Jessie. I feel she is spoilt and resents this life because its not what she wants, she just wants to get married, look good and do what she is told, rather than doing something worthwhile. I guess in that time period, that was actually quite normal so I'm not surprised she feels that way. She wasn't brought up to think like a shadowhunter.Quite the opposite really. And no matter what she may claim, I do believe Charlotte and Henry do love one another. |

Yesterday, before buying the books, I sat in the bookstore and read a little cause we have this really awesome bookstore where they serve you tea and there are cushions and you can read.
 Anyway, I started reading it and I was literally laughing out loud at Will. People were staring and I couldn't help it. And this is the second time I read the book, so I already knew his lines. |

It is.
 I used to live very close to it and I would go there every day during the summer. But now we've moved and I have to cross the entire city to get to it, so I don't go as often.  |

Read up to chap 9 last night. Ah, Camille. Yes, her introduction was certainly interesting
 I agree, Will does have an obsession for proving that Demon Pox is indeed real Sophie's back story was sad. When Charlotte explained what had happened to her that brought her to Charlotte's door. But I feel her story is quite common in those days. Spoiled boys thinking they can get what they want because they have money and power and when a girl refuses, well, they assume they have the power to do what they will with her.. Especially if she is a servant. |
