I could buy that mag since I am Italian, but we might get scans either way, so... but this wasn't what I really meant to say. Add me to the fans?

I didn't know it was Italian. But I did recongaze a few of the words.

They're heavily promoting the movie here, so it may also appear on another mag about movies. If we get scans, I may translate.

that's awesome.

Good promotion is the key....of course I don't think it would necessary do as well some of the other book-to-film franchises like Twilight, HP and HG. But as long as it does well to ensure sequels (hopefully all 6 books and the TMI series) I will be happy

They put a giant posted few months ago, and I was surprised that it was promoted this early. They also heavily promoted the books in every store I went to, have put an inspired outfits line at a famous franchise chain (guess it is the same they did in the US)... they're doing everything to promote the movie for the people who still don't know it. But anyhow I agree, even if without this kind of promotion, the movie would go well. It has lots of fans already and I know we are very devoted to these books!

fans are a big indicator. In-built fan base occasionally does make films big. Although, just because a film is based off a book (or comic series) doesn't mean it will do will. Beautiful Creatures and the Host flopped, I believe last year, John Carter did.

Yeah, it was quite sad for The Host since I'd hoped a little more success. But I didn't see the promotion they're doing with TMI, as if they didn't want those movies to be big hits. I feel who deals with the marketing of COB movie is putting a lot of efforts to make it sell, I just hope their efforts will repay in one month.

Promotion is a key. I believed several TV-Spots were aired during teen-centric shows. I believe one of them aired during Teen Wolf, and I think a few others were aired on the ABC family.

I think TMI series will get a lot of Twilight fans... I'm hoping for at least 50M and somewhere between 200-400M by the time it leaves the theaters

Possibly.

Or they may call it a Twilight rip-off. In a similar way HG is called a BR ripoff. Although their is more similarities with the latter.

true. I remember when some magazine (I believe Seventeen) tried to compare HG to Twilight. I think it was like Twilight-like Triangle or something.

But honestly I would never compare a series to Twilight, I would almost consider it bad advertising. While Twilight does have a large and devoted fanbase, its probably one of the most hated series I have encountered as well.

well I guess that may be part of it. I think a lot of the guys (or at least in my pop cult class) hated the romance in it.
