Personally I think its murder.

I wouldn't put it pass Valentine to murder her, considering she was an "experiment" to him, and she had something he obviously wanted. "Jace."

Plus it seemed to be rather convenient, when Valentine got there. Now I don't know how long a fetus/unborn child would be able to survive when their is mother is dead, and he/she is still in the womb.

Also I think the thing that Celine craved most was to be loved. I think she would have gotten the love she seaked from her child.

Although, I wonder what Jace's name would be if Celine survived. Valentine was the one that named him Johnathan because that was Michael Wayland's son (as well as his own).

Oh definitely, everything seemed too perfect for Valentine to just swoop in and get Jace, so him killing Cecile would be no shock and I really would like to know his name. I don't even know, can't even imagine him having a different name.
