I can't stop re-reading the, A Discovery of Witches series. I've loved the books/series.

I've finally just started reading City of Bones, almost done book 1.

I’m moving onto Catching Fire in my reread of The Hunger Games trilogy. I always remember this as being my favorite one of the three.

^^ I read The Hunger Games trilogy once, and wasn't crazy about it. Same with the films. They're ok but not super crazy about them like others seem to be.

It’s not for everyone

I thought the movies were good and did decently with adapting the books though a lot of the plot had to be watered down. The books, as is often the case, are infinitely better

Books are always better simply because they have more explanations and content.

But the movies were good, I did enjoy them, but wasn't part of the 'fandom', if that makes sense.

Books will always have more heart.

It does make sense for sure! You didn’t follow things too closely. You simply watched the movies and that was that
