Very very quickly. I'd say the second Rick showed up in that camp alive and well their relationship started deteriorating. His arrival was the end of Shane's relationship with Lori/Carl and his leadership within the group all in one fell swoop. I guess I can understand why he went a little nuts, but I still thought he was a douche more often than not for the way he dealt with Rick at times. He continuously crossed all kinds of boundaries. Something had to give eventually.

Yeah Rick's arrival triggered Shane's outburst. Sad. Because Shane really thought he could have a life with Carl & Lori

I think she did develop feelings for Shane. But once Rick came back and they cleared the air, she really committed herself to him and in repairing their marriage. Also, there's the fact that Shane was like family to them. He's the only other person in the world they knew before everything turned to sht. So even when all that stuff got confusing and complicated, I think it was hard for her, and for Rick, to completely wash their hands of him.

I'd say it was a variation of that as well. I think it started out exactly as Lori said. Her world ended when Rick "died" and not long after that the actual world ended with walkers taking over. Lori wasn't exactly a woman acting out of a rational mind. She was under a lot of grief and duress and Shane was someone close to her. There was already a love and affection for him. He's an old family friend. Things happen. I don't know that she felt as strongly about Shane as he did for her, but I do believe she had genuine feelings for him. I just wish Shane could've let it go in the end. That obsession cost him his life.

it's difference though. Shane could fill something that she lost when Rick wasnt there. I see it as he was the closest she could get to Rick, intimately.

Yeah I see your point, but still, I don't blame her, obviously, but it was def not a wise move. She could have taken someone else, not the best friend (which is what happens all the time

I'm not saying she was in the wrong. I think anyone would have at least tried to move on in that situation. I just dont think it started because she had any feelings for him.

No, I agree. I don't believe it started out of any feelings for him, but I do think she did develop something for him as they carried on. I believed it when Shane told Rick he never looked at Lori before that.
