I can't even remember a scene they had that was significant. Maggie should be the one talking about Beth once in a while.

It's canon to me because the way he acted and looked also the sonogram photo with Daryl and the settling down conversation with Abe that Daryl had. They all held memories for Daryl that we saw in Still and Alone.

Music - He wanted to hear Beth sing
Sonogram - Beth told Daryl she always thought Gleggie would have a baby
Settling down - Daryl wanted to actually stop looking for Team Family (for a while) and to settle down and become domestic (which I would have died to see)

So it's not hard to put those things together.

You don't think Daryl of all people pleading Rick not to play music is big? Daryl of course isn't going to cry a river or even spill feelings because that's not him, but I thought he looked pretty sad, zoned out.

Somebody, anybody should mention Beth once in a while but they didn't care when she was being abused in Grady, why should they now that she's actually gone?

I'm not expecting Daryl to cry his eyes out or whatever. I get it, I'm just a little hung up on the never wanting to hear music thing.

If I can remember Daryl didn't even hear the music from the music box, Maggie went outside with the music box still thinking it was broken and once she opened it with Sasha beside her that's when Aaron came along. So he hadn't heard music since Beth ... well damn how depressing.

I think the finale it could happen seeing as rumor has it flashbacks are going to be happening.

I thought he was the one who fixed it but again I know basically nothing about what's going on the show for a while now. I think just the idea of no music ever is preposterous to me.

That's on me.

A mention is cool but I'm not expecting anything from the finale. I'm actually personally hoping we don't get anything.
