She's still alive in the comics, but unfortunately her romance with Rick from the comics can never happen now on the show.
 I was so looking forward to that, especially with all the hints they gave us back in season one with Rick and Andrea in the department store. I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't one of the issues that the show had with Glen Mazarra which resulted in his leaving the show. Robert Kirkman spent a lot of time developing the Rick/Andrea storyline in the comics, and Mazarra turned her into a sacrificial lamb in season 3.  __________________

add me ! Even though i have yet to watch S- 3 it was hard not to look up TWD information and stuff and not see she had been killed off
Hell AMC.com had on there Walking dead page a interview with her on her death REALLY ?? i await to see what was the end of S-2 her being saved and where it leads her .. she has slowly beocme one of my favoites . Season 2 really did it for me ,built her role up and made her stronger not just "woman" doing chores . __________________

Same here. I loved Andrea in season one. Then that started to wane in season two with her 'let me punish old man Dale' agenda. And most unforgivably, SHE SHOT DARYL. By the time she started to hang out with Shane more regularly, she got better. I really enjoyed their scenes/dynamic.

I liked that Andrea grew a more badass side in S2, but I didn't appreciate her shooting Daryl either
 She bugged in S3. However, I still held a soft spot for her. I wish they hadn't killed her off. I tend to like characters most people hate.  __________________
