Good episode. Not as emotional as 602 "Accounts Payable" but still full of interesting twists and humor.
Donna is the Queen of All Things, but we knew that already. She is the glue that holds this family together and keeps certain members on task. Louis is Louis and will always need a handler, but Harvey is an emotional mess and I think he might just shut down if Donna wasn't there to kick his ass into gear. But back to Louis, the more things change, the more they stay the same. That conversation with Donna about how Louis is always screwing up, hilarious. Rachel kicked ass. Finally, a story for her that's not about Mike. Don't get me wrong, I miss Rachel and Mike together, but Rachel's character has needed fleshing out for too long and if Mike's imprisonment allows Rachel room to grow, then all the better. She's forced to stand up for herself now, and I especially love it for the opportunity it gives her to bond with and be mentored by Jessica. Speaking of whom, for all that Jessica still rules her roost, the current crisis has softened her. PSL is down to 6 employees, and I think maybe she's seeing Rachel as more than Mike's girlfriend or Harvey's associate for the first time. Their mentor/apprentice relationship began to develop in season 5, and it's nice to see that deepen. The prison story continues to surprise. Mike's frustration and fear coupled with Harvey's guilt is mixing to good effect in that both are desperate for a solution. Hopefully, they've found a plan that will work to get Gallo off Mike's back, but Sean Cahill's offer was a twist I wasn't expecting. Harvey's right, Mike will never go for it, but that doesn't mean they can't use it to formulate their own plan. As much as I like that Mike seems to have found a friend he can trust in Kevin, Mike's relationship with Julius is more interesting because Julius is the character that will (hopefully) facilitate true change in Mike. So far, Mike's acting like prison is nothing more than a massive and dangerous inconvenience, something he felt compelled to do to protect Harvey but not something he truly deserves. The episode is currently #1 on the iTunes download chart. |

I watched the episode but I might need to watch again as the sound was not proper for me to understand a couple of things.
I liked the episode and twists and turns. It was more dynamic than the previous one. I knew something would come about Kevin but I agree that Mike's relationship with Julius is more interesting. And I think things can even turn around with Gallo as well. And if Mike can go after Kevin can you imagine how things can turn around? I really liked the scenes between Jessica&Harvey, Jessica&Rachel. Louis was fun to watch and new tenants definitely brought a different dynamism to the office and the show. So do you guys think they are getting Mike out early or not? I think mid-season finale might brought him back outside but we will deal with his dilemma till then imo. __________________

something about this season is just lacking for me and its 100% mike being in prison. it just doesnt work for me and i miss the harvey/mike interactions WAY too much.
I sincerely hope they figure out how to get Mike out soon because I hate him being alone in there. __________________

That plot twist was a surprise But I'm not sure if I want Mike to go for the plan.
I actually still like Mike in prison As long as it doesn't take all season, I do like the storyline Rachel was kicking ass But for the rest I thought it was a slightly boring episode __________________

I think without Louis I would find it more boring too
My ears were wide open when he was referring himself as a dildo. I was like "whaaa?" __________________

i am not mike/rachel fan so one thing i do like is not having episodes filled with their scenes. i want more marveyyyyy. and serious lack of donna/harvey this season too.... __________________
