This episode ... I do not understand why Louis was being such a dick. I mean, I totally understand how angry he was, but my issue is that he was vindictive. However, I guess that is how Louis has always been.

So no surprise there.

It's too bad.

Now does this mean I felt bad for all of the others who were at the end of it and trying to assign blame on each other rather than accept the fact that they did something stupid? No.

I think they ALL deserved it. I still DO NOT agree with the fact that Mike is still a 'lawyer' at the firm. I do not even comprehend why this is.

And the fact that the circle of people and lies continues to grow is something quite sad. Because when it comes out and it eventually will, there will be nothing left of these guys and their firm.

It's a really sad thing.

I don't either. It was kind of difficult to watch, especially when he was bringing everyone else into it.

I read an article/interview where the showrunners didn't think they'd taken it too far with Louis, but I don't know.. I disagree. It was too much for me, anyway. I've come really like Louis, and although I understand his betrayal and such, I couldn't agree with how far he took it.

I think I need to rewatch the whole show again to see the reasons why he was allowed to stay.

It'll definitely be coming out at some point.

There is no justifiable reason he's still a lawyer. If they want him to be one, then why the hell does he not just take the bar! Their justification is that all of their cases would be re-opened and open to mitigation and possible mistrials or whatever you want to call it.

It would allow the other side to possibly void all contracts or suits they have handled.

Well THEN PERHAPS they should have allowed him to try anything in the first place. None of this makes ANY sense to me whatsoever. The cons outweigh the pros. Sure if he helped with research or possible ways for them to win suits I understand. My problem is when they allowed him to fraudulently stand in front of a judge and mock the courtroom and those in it by letting him 'play lawyer' that I never have EVER agreed with.

I totally believe the character is smart enough and his mindset is great for a lawyer. Too bad he doesn't have the paper!

The sad thing is that everyone is going to get screwed on this one.
