just the comment his mother made when he was leaving to slaughter she was thinking "well at least D12 was gonna have a winner and you're gonna die" all in one package

I know that and I mean, the reason why she abusing him which that could be the interpretation for all the fans since there is no right or wrong answers since we have diff ways to come up w/ the reason for her doesn't care her own child..

most people I talked about what is like for him, we all agree the same.

even if it wasn't the games and the oppression in the world he was living, he was still abuse by his mother

This is how I see their family dynamic, Peeta most likely resembles his father in spirit (gentle and kind) and because his mother knows she was not her husband's first choice, she zeroed in on Peeta who could be seen as the weakest of her sons (not physically weak). So she bullied, belittled and abused him any way she knew how.

Especially when you think about how good Peeta is, I mean he's definitely not the rebellious mean type where punishment is understandable. I know that was probably helpful in her case, but it's just so horrible to think about, not that abusing a rebellious kid is okay either but it makes it worse when it's someone as kindhearted as Peeta.

Yeah I definitely see him helping them with money. He wanted to give Rue's and Thresh's families money so giving his own family is a no-brainer.

Well I think the fact that they stayed in their house over the bakery and didn't leave the business proves they weren't keen on accepting any help from Peeta. Doesn't change the fact that Peeta will try his best to help them out anyway.
