i agree.

the problem is that Bernie is far too left/socialist for Murica right now, sadly. the old guard is not ready for progressive or socialist tendencies right now, maybe in the next generation. trump didn't get big numbers in 2016 for no reason at all, there are still tons of old voters out there, that despise progressives and world community advocates. that's why we call it Murica wtf yeah. smh.

truthfully?....no. too many old white voters for trump, and gun-loving rednecks. way too many. the problem is that young voters are rarely motivated by anything that doesn't directly benefit them, i.e. money. they showed up for Clinton in 92, but not 96. they showed up for Obama in 08 but not 12. they didn't show up for Hillary at all. i have no idea what is wrong with 18-24 y/o voters, but they are totally unpredictable. hopefully they show up in 2020.

they show up when they feel like it. they are the true unknown in this election cycle, because you can't predict how much response you'll get. 18-24 y/o voters are way more volatile than the 25-35 y/o group. they used to lump everyone in 18-35, but now it it 18-24 and 25-35. i hope they show up.
