The 3rd one is supposed to be a space adventure I think, wonder what the 4th one will be about.

Yeah and it was cool how they let us know, at the end of the first movie, he finds a book I think about the Mysterious Island which was the subject of the second movie. And at the end of the second movie, he finds a book about something space related.

yes at the end of the movie getting a book it kinda open the theme for the next film.

Hopefully now that it's more official, we won't go another couple of years with nothing at all about them.

Ok not sure what happened, but seems that was an older news bit about Journey 3 & 4. It was posted on a Tumblr source blog recently though.

But Dwayne Johnson has mentioned he won't be working on another Journey movie because it proved to be "a real challenge to crack creatively" so it's not happening. That is too bad, it would have been a cool one.

Yeah, and it's not that he's not going to be in the movie, but the whole movie is not happening.

Well it would have been that each movie was a different location and a different adult But they could have also gone with Sean being on his own being older now, but it's not a casting issue, since the movie itself seems to have been hard to do.
