What didn't make sense to me was why, after experiencing how love and a relationship should be, would he think his happy ending is going back to Robin. Their relationship was never like this. And yes, we waited 9 seasons to meet the mother only to have her die in 2 seconds, without knowing why and without seeing any reaction from Ted then or the kids now. How can we be okay with finally meeting and loving the mother only to have it ripped away for a relationship that makes no sense whatsoever at this point?

That's what makes it worse, they did all that because they needed to fit the scene with the kids that they filmed in S2. But what happened with the characters and relationships since then renders that ending pointless.

I agree w/ this.. Plus I think that I stop caring about the show during like either S5 or S6.. But so disappointing..

I know what you mean Sara. And yeah same Steph but usually the series finale is the most amazing episode ever and it makes me love the show all over again

That one is fan-made, they just removed the parts of it that ruined the characters and relationships. But yeah they're saying there is an alternate finale that will be on the DVD.

^ Yeah, I notice the comments when I was watching.. Beside, I'm glad that they will put the an alternate finale on the DVD, so hopefully that one is better than the one on the air..
